    PhD in Data Visualisation from Swansea University

     

    Dave's a key member of the development team having had major roles in developing the ground breaking Indico platform as well as managing system databases. His expertise in data visualization and visual analytics has created innovative ways for customers to analyse their data and gain valuable insight when working with multi-dimensional datasets. 
    Known as the office funny man, Dave is highly creative and a true team player. He does everything well, though he seems to think that he's a 'Jack of all trades, master of none'. Outside work, he enjoys playing squash, snooker, and badminton (including on the Swansea University team) and runs the prestigious We Predict badminton club. Always ambitious, he's busy establishing his glittering career as a data visualisation guru and mastering the piano in any spare time he gets.

    The Facts

    Joined the company in 2011.
    6 years prior experience at the DVLA within the IT support department.
    MEng Computing Degree from Swansea University.

    Responsibilities

    Christopher has responsibility for managing our databases and played an important role in developing our Automotive Silverlight product. He is currently working heavily with Health related data sets and implementing our new Health product, Seren, developed using Javascript and HTML5.


    Interests

    A keen fitness participant, he plays golf, badminton and football. He is also the king of the office Fantasy Football league and a keen supporter of Swansea City.

    Health Lead

    Dr Kerry Bailey MBBS BSc MSc DLSTM MRCGP FFPH, is a practicing physican (GP) and a consultant in Public Health. With over 20 years working in the NHS she has also worked clinically and as a PH consultant in 7 other countries including three years in Sub-Saharan Africa. She has led at local and national level programmes on health systems strengthening, health improvement and across a range of health and integrated services, including diabetes, HIV and MDR TB. With a focus on how We Predicts excellent statistical and data science skills can contribute to understanding the population's health she brings domain expertise to the team. She has extensive real world experience of evaluating programmes in both resource poor and resource rich settings. Having witnessed too often inadequate use of available data for evaluation and roll out she is passionate about the predictive and evaluative real time We Predict service application to health and social care.
    Kerry's first degree, medical science with psychology and her medical degree (MBBS) were from Imperial College London and her Masters in Public Health from London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
    Outside the office – open water swimming, ski-ing, sailing especially with her hubby and daughters
    Passionate about – Improving health ....but improving with the worst health swiftest...and evaluating to be sure that we have.
